Pass the POST physical fitness test. Meet all POST requirements for certification as a Peace Officer.

PERSI retirement
Preforms patrol duties to assigned shift. i.e., Extra-Patrols, respond to Calls for Service, conducts traffic in the city or areas that need extra attention. Quells disturbances and keeps the peace for the City of Rigby. Maintain a high level of professionalism when encountering the general public. Build a rapport with citizens and businesses. Conduct business checks after hours. During the night shift, conduct security checks. Well type reports in a timely manner. Discuss Reports to the shift supervisor and or Sergeant. Informs the next shift of pass down of Calls for Service that were taken during shift.
Safeguards crime and emergency scenes, performs interviews, collects evidence and testifies in court when required.
Enforces City Of Rigby Ordinances, State of Idaho criminal and traffic codes.
